Group therapy is a highly effective form of treatment and is usually targeted around a specific problem area. It is generally acknowledged that both group therapy and individual therapy are relatively equivalent in their effectiveness in addressing a large number of mental health issues, including substance abuse, depression, anxiety, social skills, and grief.
Our Groups offer a safe, confidential, supportive space for individuals who are having difficulty managing their daily lives or could use better coping techniques to deal with challenging anxiety in their life.
We do not endorse the use of a mental health group as a substitute for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Sessions meet for 60 minutes each week in-person from 11:00 - 12:00 at the PsychLife office, 3733 University Blvd West, in the Brightway Insurance Building.
Sessions will run for 6 weeks. The next Group starts Friday March 21, 2025 11:00 AM
Groups will be limited to 7-8 adult participants.
This is an IN-PERSON Group.
